Building Campaign

“God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

2 Corinthians 9:8

New Building OriginalAfter years of discernment, Manhattan Mennonite Church has embarked upon a capital campaign to establish a

new meetinghouse at 821 Poyntz located immediately east of Manhattan High School’s east campus. The proposed 13,600 square foot building will enable Manhattan Mennonite Church to become more welcoming and fulfill our vision.

We are extremely excited to invite our friends in the broader community to join us in accomplishing our mission and vision by contributing to our Building Campaign. With an estimated cost of 1.7 million the campaign is off to a great start having raised over $200,000. Additionally, Manhattan Mennonite Church households have collectively pledged $3,000 each month to reach the $300,000 campaign goal by 2016.

Building Campaign LogoThis campaign is not so much about money and a building, as it is believing in the vision and mission of Manhattan Mennonite Church, a community committed to

  • Jesus Christ in faith and life,
  • each other in worship, nurture and prayer,
  • and others in witness, peacemaking and service.

There is true joy in sacrificial giving and stewardship. The Building Campaign Committee invites you to experience that joy through your contributions. Please contact us with your questions and any suggestions you might have to help make this campaign a success!
